Murder and Failed Suicide in Arizona

Fox11az.com reports on the latest example of "guns are bad news for women." I love these cases in which the man successfully kills the woman but fails to successfully kill himself.

One of the neighbors on the video said, "It just goes to show you never know what's going on in someone's home." Given that chilling fact, is it really a good idea to have guns in so many homes?

What's your opinion? Please leave a comment.

  1. It seems guns are actually bad news for men.

  2. Generally speaking, people or friends or family usually know something isn't right. Rarely does a tragedy like this happen out of nowhere.

There's a strong sense of denial in people--they see the odd behavior, they see the obsession with guns. But then they claim, 'who knew? This is really surprising.'

    Not really.

  3. I agree there really is too much of that old, "who would have thought" nonsense. This is the reluctance of lawful gun owners to police themselves, which, since they don't want others doing it, they should start taking more responsibility.
