Accidental Shooting in Kentucky - Two for One - No Charges

Local news reports

Two men in Whitley County managed to get shot by the same bullet Wednesday night.

Kentucky State Police say Matthew N. Goins, 22, and William J. Bennett, 22, were target shooting in an area along KY-904 east of Williamsburg when the gun jammed. As the two men were trying to clear the jam, the gun fired, hitting Goins in the hand and Bennett in the leg.

EMS took both men to Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin for treatment of minor injuries.
Police say they determined the shooting was accidental and don't plan to file any charges.
Does anyone think the world is safer with these two characters owning guns? I certainly don't. One strike you're out needs to be applied.
