Newtown CT Gun Sales

"They think they're protecting themselves, but they're only adding to the problem."

  1. Connecticut is deeply enslaved, but not as bad as a few others. The gun control freaks interviewed are typical of their breed--why would anyone need more than two guns?--but the new buyers here and the gun owners who are buying more shows the true feeling of Americans. We're not adding to the problem. You gun control freaks are the problem. Enjoy continuing to lose.

  2. And the voting with pocketbooks continues. Most people do not want what yall are selling.

    1. Time will tell, but I think you're whistling in the dark with that "most people."

  3. Just look at the attitudes displayed in this piece. They don't want people to buy guns. It Doesn't matter that the sales are going through all the background checks they desire, it doesn't matter how clean you are, it doesn't matter if it holds less than 10 rounds, or doesn't have features that make it look like a military gun. They don't want you to have a gun. If you already have a gun, they don't want you to buy more. Connecticut is yet another example of the slippery slope. In this piece they say CT has some of the toughest gun laws in the nation, and they are about to get a whole lot more.

    1. I didn't hear anybody saying "we don't want you to have guns." What I heard is that it's a damn shame that so many people are frightened and buy into the gun solution. It's a mistake. And it adds to the problem, just like Nancy Lanza did.

    2. Now you're whistling in the dark, Mikeb. You're so committed to your fantasy that you can't see reality--namely that Americans don't want what you're pushing.

    3. Um... How's what you said different? Those people are upset that people are buying guns. Look at what Piers said in the link you just posted. He prefers women to not be armed. It doesn't matter the kind of gun, it doesn't matter the kind of woman- give up your guns so that somewhere sometime, some unknown person may live.

    4. I thought Piers said he didn't want ALL women to have guns.

    5. Mikeb, you too often forget that you people are fooling no one.

    6. Well then what's his problem? All women aren't armed. All women in Newtown aren't armed either, but he seems to have a problem with sales being up.

  4. An essential part of being a progressive is telling other people what's best for them.

    1. Even when it isn't best for them. In fact, the definitive characteristic is the desire to tell people what to do.
