Criminals don't obey laws?

Criminals may not obey laws, but they end up being punished because they don't obey them.

Are there no prisons in the US? Are there no jails in the US?

Of course, there are prisons and jails. And the US has the highest (official) incarceration rate:

Stop using silly arguments.

  1. Scrooge McDog, laws should make criminal the act of causing harm. But when the law criminalizes magazine capacity or a gun's function, that's an abuse of power. The fact that you cannot admit or comprehend this is one of many reasons why your side fails.

    3. Gee, where does it say that in the Constitution? Waiting for your proof.
      Then please show where it says in the Constitution that you must get from the government the top of the line PC, or your 1st amendment rights are violated. Please show where in the Constitution it states you have a right to large capacity magazines. You never answer questions, but I'll keep asking them.

      A poor example Anon. Especially considering not too long ago, the government considered some encryption software to be classified as a weapon and subject to export controls. Fortunately, with the widespread release of the software, the attempt was unsuccessful.

  3. Especially since we all sort of agreed here in a fairly recent thread that imprisoning nonviolent offenders isn't really necessary for the most part. Always good at paying attention Laci is...
