ObamaCare Could DISARM MILLIONS of Gun Owners

  1. "The Daily Caller said, “The VA sends veterans’ personal medical and financial information directly to the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, which can seize their guns in home raids.”

"But you won’t even have to suffer from a “medical issue” to be denied. According to USA Today, the ability to “cut and paste” from one record to another can lead to potentially dangerous medical errors in the database. And for gun owners, this means wrongful denials when submitting to instant background checks while trying to buy guns."

Now where have we seen someone's guns confiscated because of a medical records error? That would be New York fairly recently. Couple that with this involving the VA which seems to be in a race with the ATF for the title "Incompetent Government Agency" and its sort of surprising you aren't reading of it more in the states that allow law enforcement to confiscate arms such as New York and California.

"The lawsuit says that during that visit, staff erroneously listed him as an “involuntary admission,” triggering the SAFE Act reporting provision. Those deemed at-risk for owning guns by mental health professionals have to be reported and their names entered into a database."

    1. On my last doctor visit I was sitting with the doctor as he input the info from the visit and placed an online prescription. Looking at the terminal I noticed that my file contained something like; "appears more relaxed since the divorce". I asked him what that was, he looked and said 'what the heck!' It was some other lady's file intermingled with mine. I asked him how often that happened and he replied that, sadly it was not at all uncommon.

But think about misinformation getting into the hands of ATF. They come busting in your home based on someone else info. Nice...

    2. I suppose the gun violence problem in the US will change dramatically with all these medical-related confiscations.
