According to Kansas City, Missouri police, from 7 p.m. on Dec. 31 to 7 a.m. on Jan. 1, dispatch had around 352 sound of shots calls.

    I wonder what methods these callers used to distinguish the sound of gun shots from firecrackers.

      Or another question might be, how many people called in for the same "shot"?
