The Rights of non-Citizens

FatWhiteMan left this comment about the video which the Liberal Viewer is commenting on.

If they are a foreign national, regardless of where they are committing their act of terror, they have nothing.

Sorry, FWM, the Liberal Viewer says you're wrong about that.

  1. The fact that the liberal viewer and I would disagree on anything is not much of a leap.

  2. Wait FWM, so you're saying that anyone in this country that is NOT a U.S. citizen has no rights?

I'm sorry, but that's just ridiculous.

  3. Mike W,

What I said was a foreign enemy national that is committing an act of war against the U.S. has no rights. I don't care if it is on a foreign battlefield or he sneaks across our border to do it.

  4. How do you decide that someone is "a foreign enemy national that is committing an act of war against the U.S."?

  5. I think we should give non-citizens the same rights they have in their native country.

    Problem solved.

  6. I don't understand all that jingoistic nonsense about denying rights to people who are not citizens. They're people. The gun rights folks are so quick to point out that you can't deny people rights when it's about their owning guns, but so quick to deny others the same thing.
