At first I thought how ridiculous to fire a cop for yelling at a kid when they often give them a slap on the wrist, or nothing at all for shooting people.
But then I watched the video. What do you think? Please leave a comment.
I didn't know it was an old video. I just thought it was really impressive. Do you think the guy is an armed guard somewhere these days? That's how it usually works, you gun owners protecting each other and turning a blind eye to the obvious nut cases who shouldn't be armed.

I love how MikeB can take a fleeting thought bouncing around in his head and try and turn it into an indictment against all gun owners.
Mike, if you had paid attention even just a little bit you would have realized that gun owners hate police abuses even more than you. I don't know if you are familiar with David Codrea's "Only Ones" blog posts, but he and others spend quite a bit of time pointing out the various misdeeds performed by police officers. Gun owners certainly are not the ones giving them a free pass.
You will respect ma authoratee!!!
ReplyDeleteOld news. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
That is several years old but as Anon said, good riddance.
ReplyDeleteIf that had happened recently, Maryland would have made a felon out of the videographer for daring to film a cop.
At first I thought the officer was trying a little tough love on the kids to teach them a lesson but clearly he has (had) some emotional issues.
ReplyDeleteIn other news from Florida: Son reports mom for driving drunk, carrying gun
Yeesh. The titled the country and all the nuts rolled into Florida.
I love that, "tilted the country."

Point taken, RuffRidr. I should have heard FatWhiteMan's voice on this one.
ReplyDeleteHa! I love the last thing we hear him saying. “you got that camera rolling? If I find myself on…”
