Caption This

Sorry about that. I just realized it's not safe to have a picture like that on a blog whose server is in Italy. If you thought the U.S. was bad with the Patriot Act and all that, I hear it's worse here.

If we're lucky though, The Prince will put up the picture.

Ruger--if you can't kill your opponent with the bullets, the gun is heavy enough to be a club!

  3. Actually, your server resides in the U.S.

  4. Are you telling us that the great free bastion of perfect Utopian bliss that is Europe would censor the poor subjects?

  5. FWM, I don't know what to think after that interesting comment from Anonymous. Hopefully he'll explain. Could it be that my Internet Service Provider is in Italy but my server is in the U.S.? That doesn't sound likely.

Why would Blogspot's (Google) server be hosted in Italy?

  7. What difference does it make where your server is when you post a picture of a gun?

  8. The comments by readers have no idea that there are 27 countries in Europe and like the states in America, there are states with more gun laws and states with gun laws. The same applies in Europe with press freedom and the internet. Sweden is one of the best for press freedom and internet freedoms, but Italy, due to Berlusconi and his control of the media, Italy is one of the worse countries in europe for the press and the internet.
Italy is the only western european country and NATO member that is listed as a partly free country.

  9. I'm not sure how these things work but I always thought it depended on your ISP. One reason I had that idea is I discovered once that if I try to open an on-line gambling site, I get a big government message covering the screen saying it's not lawful. I figured that was Big Brother stuff Italian style which is monitored at the service provider.
