this story in order to ask one simple question. Why in the world was there ever a question of ligitimacy? Were the Fish and Game people trying to determine if the bear really lunged at the guy?
Hunter encountered the bruin sleeping on the floor of the dining room in the morning and shouted to drive him off the premises. He shot and killed the bear with a shotgun after the animal became aggressive and charged him.

Thanks for remembering. If you've never encountered an angry black bear, I can tell tell you that it is not a pleasent experience.
ReplyDelete1200 pound grizzlies tend to steal the spot light as far as the media is concerned, but 500 pound black bears are far more aggressive and territorial than any grizzly.
