I can always tell from the title when it's an article by Laci or Jadegold. But Pooch, I don't read either the Idiot's Guide to ____ or _____ for Dummies. If the author is going to insult me before I even pick up the book, there isn't anything in it that I can't find better expressed elsewhere.
In your case, Pooch, since what you write is free, I treat it for what it's worth.
Curious--you never answer any arguments and rarely offer facts, but you're free with insults. Did you try that technique in court? If so, tell us about the contempt of court fines and jail time.
My arguments come from experience, wisdom, and analysis. I don't need to attack or silence anyone.
Here are two FACTS for your consideration. Even if you could wave a magic wand and make all civilian firearms disappear tonight: (1) People would rebuild them in short order. I can make a nice single shot firearm with widely available parts at local hardware stores for less than $15. And there are thousands of small machine shops in the U.S. that can easily make more sophisticated firearms. (2) A person intent on killing dozens or hundreds of people can easily accomplish this task with one gallon of gasoline and a match. Or if they don't like the smell of gasoline, they can simply drive their car into a crowd of people.
Gun control at any level will not stop or reduce domestic violence, petty crime, organized crime, or mass murder. All it does is remove options for effective self defense for citizens. Oh, and it infringes on their rights to own and posses property of their choosing. I suppose it also infringes on their right to defend themselves from attack.
Anonymous your arguments are simplistic and self-serving. Do you really think the manufacture of home-made guns in the basement can replace the nearly unfettered access there is today? And do you think Adam Lanza could have killed as many with something other than guns?

Sorry, I forgot, when it comes to being an idiot, you two don't need a guide...you're naturals.

DeleteThose genetically defective rednecks will try to "drag you down to their level and beat you with experience".
DeleteAlso, they have obtained the assistance of another pro-gun troll (probably their nurse) in a failed attempt to claim that the ignorant have "rights".
