You so often post "lawful gun owner," even when that's wrong, but you've yet to show anything that would determine who is going to commit illegal acts in the future. And no, going after people who drop a gun isn't the answer, since you'll never know about most of those incidents, and dropping a gun isn't a sign of potential criminality.

DeleteIf dropping a gun isn't enough for you, how about what this guy did? No one was hurt, after all. Would you say he should continue to own guns?
This man committed a crime. I have no problem locking him up for a good stretch and then treating him like any other criminal.
