arma virumque cano (et alia)
Once again, we see that disarming the good people doesn't stop bad people from attacking.
Once again we see the pro gun side has no solution to this deadly problem , they just say oh well that's the way it is. More dead.
There is usually a pretty consistence solution to allow victims the tools to fight back- particularly our soldiers. Have you not been paying attention to the debate? There was a John Lott post maybe a week ago here on that very subject.Or by "no solution" did you mean "no solution that I approve of"?
You took the words out of my mouth - no solution that I agree with. And I'm in good company with the Medal of Honor recipient, Colonel Jack Jacobs.
TS has it right. To the gun control freak, the only solutions that they can perceive are the ones that they agree with. They can't offer any rational disucssion of alternatives, nor can they comprehend the error of their ways.
Nice attempts at insults, but neither of you mentioned any solutions. Solutions are not your biased opinions. The shooter had mental health problems, yet you reject mental health evaluations, or even mental health background checks as a prerequisite to a gun purchase. Colonel Jacobs has it right and I'll take his reputable advice over John Lott any day.
