It is incidents like this that brought about my hatred of guns. It was not always the intentional murder of a young man involved in gang warfare, but more often than not, an innocent bystander caught in the cross-fire. Either way, it hurts the community. The images that come to my mind are the funerals or memorial services. Families grieving over the loss of one of their own. I guess it is all the more poignant when the victim is wholly innocent of any wrong-doing or affiliation.
It is extremely telling that all of you loud-mouth gun enthusiasts have nothing to say about this incident. It doesn't support your argument or point-of-view. There is no way to spin it that supports broader gun ownership or less regulation of firearms.
