The bowler has been charged with careless discharge of a firearm. Police have confiscated his gun and have contacted the gun board to get his concealed weapons permit revoked.
I didn't think anyone believed in the one-strike-you're-out law yet. Maybe they're catching on in Detroit.
What do you think?
Clever man! The Security Guard claims he was about to shoot into the air to disperse a fight. Wrong answer.

ReplyDeleteMikeB, you must have missed it when Jade was trying to claim that concealed carry permit holders were evil incarnate, and quoted an article that mentioned Michigan permit holders and their higher-than-Florida revocation rates.
As I so sagely pointed out to Jade there, Michigan is a state that can and often will revoke permits for seemingly minor violations, even speeding tickets, whether the gun was in the car or not.
My joking answer is "good for Michigan," but actually I don't think the speeding ticket should count.

ReplyDeleteOne "strike" and you're out? Am I giving you too much credit, in chuckling at the bowling pun?
In the end, though, that's not as funny as the "yet" at the end of the sentence.

ReplyDeleteHey, it's Detroit, man. I mean we all know that there's a lot of folks there who have a constitutional RIGHT to own guns, but a lot of other folks with guns would prolly rather they didn't.
but a lot of other folks with guns would prolly rather they didn't.
ReplyDeleteI'd rather you not have a blog to spew your ignorant vitriol, but unlike you and your ilk I don't want to use the force of the government to restrict your rights just because of that.
Great comparison, Anon. You're pretty funny.
