The Damage of Gun Violence

The true extent of the damage caused by gun violence is often much greater than it seems.

  1. So was the rate of mental illness lower or higher than those on the Canadian bus where the nutjob stabbed and beheaded people?

  2. You mean the damage of Gun Control, right?

Kimveer Gil had all his guns registered with the Canadians, and entered an area where guns are banned, carrying them illegally, and using them for the crime of murder.

His assault only stopped when the police arrived with THEIR guns.

More blood on your hands, and No I will not allow these restrictions to survive.

  4. "About the same."

One would think so but for some here a gun is far more evil than other murder weapons.

Mikeb and I finally agree about something. Perfect example of what he's talking about: James Brady gets shot (with a .22 rimfire revolver), and Sarah Brady sustains severe brain damage, with her intellect decimated, and any morality she may have had utterly destroyed ;-).

  6. "and Sarah Brady sustains severe brain damage"

That's funny. I love your sense of humor.

  7. Thanks, Mikeb. The odd thing is that I don't think I've managed to make Sarah crack a smile yet. No accounting for taste, I suppose.
