  1. Cameras, burglar alarms, reinforced walls--determined thieves will find a way.

    1. Yeah, if the thieves are more determined than the gun shop owner. Obviously he should have done more after the first break-in.

  2. That's right, biometric gun safes, locked guns in schools, a gun hanging from another person, or a cop. You can't stop it, so guns should just be taken out of circulation.

    1. How do you propose to do that without people with guns making it happen? And if your people with guns do it, then what are you going to do about them if you can disarm all of us?

    2. By making America a gun free country.

    3. That will never happen. But let's pretend that it could. You would need people with guns to get my guns. What will you then do with those armed agents of the government?

    4. "Never" don't be so sure.
It took 200 years to get to Heller, it's not precedent yet. If these mass shootings keep happening, the people will protest for stricter laws. The cry for gun control is high after one of these mass shootings, then it dissipates. At some point, if we continue to grow the number of deaths due to gun shots, it will not dissipate.
Gun free means changing the Constitution, that won't happen soon.
It took decades for the people's protest to force stricter drunk driving laws, but we have them now, and they are responsible for much lower drunk driving arrests and accident deaths due to drunk driving.
All it takes is a change in the people's thinking; and history shows that happens consistently.

    5. Sally's got the right idea about the gradual and inevitable change that will happen. The reason it's inevitable is that hundreds of thousands of people are directly affected by gun violence each year. Most of them move towards the gun control side of the argument. Eventually this will tip the scales so far in our direction that even the 50% of responsible gun owners will be lucky to own guns anymore.

Now, Greg, before you have a hissy fit and claim that I just tipped my hand and that I really want to disarm all civilians, I don't. I only want to disarm about half of you guys, as I've said many times.

    6. Mikeb, you shout "liar" so often, it's hard to believe anything you say. But you're neglecting all the people whose lives are saved each year by firearms, and you're neglecting the fact that Americans aren't responding in the way you predict.

Sally, drunk driving is a harm. But owning and carrying guns is not fundamentally so.

    7. Total bullshit from a name calling lying coward. Drunk driving kills, just like idiot gun owners like you.

    8. Greg, why would my shouting liar so often make it hard to believe anything I say. I would think it would make it hard to believe anything YOU say since you're the one I call a liar so often.

    9. Mikeb, it's your reflexive response to everything. It's a verbal tic, not a reasoned argument.

Sally, as I said, drunk driving is an actual harm, while owning and carrying a gun isn't necessarily so.

    10. It's reasonable and fair to call someone who constantly lies, a liar. YOU

    11. Owning a car is not a harm.
Drinking while you use your gun (as you said you do) is a stupid person.

    12. Sally, that statement is false. I did not say that.

    13. Poor Greg, everyone calls him a liar based on facts and he can only deny what his own words prove. By troll.

      Delete
    14. Any time you're ready to prove that claim, let me know. I stand by my words. But I also require proof, since I know your kind lie repeatedly.

      Delete
    15. Now Sally is a liar also? Why do you see the need to keep proving what a jack ass you are?
Your own words are the proof, and you refuse to defend your own words, like the lying criminal coward you are.
      Next lie

  3. I mostly just laugh at this chucklehead retired police officer who thinks that he is providing a public service by selling guns. Can't he come up with a safer and more positive way to accrue income in his golden years? How about a barbecue store or a kitchen gadget store? He doesn't really seem to need the money. I guess it's just a labor of love.

Normal people don't need a constant supply of new guns and more ammo. In a funny way, it makes a lot more sense for criminals to own weapons. Surely they are far less likely to commit suicide or domestic violence. They use guns for what they are designed. Killing people and guerilla warfare. So, in an odd sense, he truly is providing a public service by arming and creating wealth for gangsters.

    1. As a gun enthusiast, there's always another gun that I'd like to own. But all gun owners have use for more ammunition. It's called practice. Without practice, skills degrade.

    2. As a self admitted hillbilly, don't you make your own ammo?
