It wasn't like that, Orlin. The Obama-haters in Congress prevented him from doing what he'd promised. For Obama-haters, nothing matters but obstructing Obama in all things.
Obama could not close GITMO because the Republican House would not give him the money to relocate the prisoners. The five who were traded could never be tried, because their was no evidence against them and would be released anyways. So the trade was a good one.
Who promised he was gonna close the place, but then decided he liked torture so much, decided to keep it open for business?

Eventually they all either need to be released or tried. Especially with us thankfully getting out of an active combat role.
