Things seem pretty peaceful in the photo. The marines don't look scared, though they seem to be not following recent guidelines,
"One of the steps Carter approved was Marine Corps Recruiting Command's decision to have recruiters not wear their military uniforms for now, a defense official said."
Though its my guess that it will be a cold day in hell before a marine willingly follows that order. There also seem to be some additional photos on the same site of similar actions at other locations. I'm waiting to find out which marine broke the law by carting a personal firearm and had the audacity to fight back against the now dead terrorist.
"The FBI has recovered a pistol that may have been privately owned and used by one of the Marines killed here Thursday during the shooting at the Navy Operational Support Center, according to law enforcement officials. Investigators are trying to determine, based on forensics, whether the pistol, a 9mm Glock, was used in an exchange with the shooter, Mohammad Youssef Abdulazeez, and possibly wounded him, officials said."
There seem to be a lot of people not paying attention to the Gun Free Zone rule on military bases,
"A report distributed among senior Navy leaders during the shooting's aftermath said Lt. Cmdr. Timothy White, the support center's commanding officer, used his personal firearm to engage Abdulazeez, Navy Times confirmed with four separate sources. A Navy official also confirmed a Washington Post report indicating one of the slain Marines may have been carrying a 9mm Glock and possibly returned fire on the gunman."
SS and all, check the new post on the idiot civilian who fired a shot. Lucky no one was hurt. What charges will he get for firing a weapon that could have killed someone?

I can only hope that someone has the common sense to avoid something stupid like prosecuting the base commander.
Military gun loons are no different than civilian gun loons, they don't adhere to the law either.
ReplyDeleteHmm... you're kind of making it sound like standing armies are to be feared, and militias should still play a role in today's society.

DeleteThat's awesome.
Thanks for proving yet again you can't read, or just to used to lying to know you are lying.
DeleteI agree with Anonymous. You guys are so busy blowing smoke up each others assas, you don't even make sense.
DeleteWeep, Mikeb! Wail! Your tears are delicious!

Delete"What charges will he get for firing a weapon that could have killed someone?"
DeleteWell Anon, if you just take the time to read the article you mentioned, you'll see.
I haven't seen any charges against him, and there should be, but thanks for the lie SS, again what charges have been brought?
Delete"I haven't seen any charges against him"
DeleteWell Anon, here is the post you mentioned,
http://mikeb302000.blogspot.com/2015/07/civilian-guard-fires-gun-while.html
And if you had taken the time to read the article Mike used, you would have seen this,
"Reed has been charged with accidental discharge in city limits. The Dispatch said he was convicted of the same offense in 2013, and paid a $50 fine."
Helps if you actually read the article.
Talking a different incident, but leave it to you to be so dishonest/stupid.
DeletePerhaps you should work on writing more clearly.
DeletePerhaps you should learn how to read. Stop trying to dishonestly word twist everything. Your lies are confusing you.
