Very cool. I haven't seen an M-60 since my time in Iraq. It was sort of strange that they were surprised to find bullets hitting the house that were tumbling considering that they had already gone through the side of a car.
Just shows that gun loons (who should know what a gun, or bullet will do) don't know, but go ahead anyways out of sheer stupidity. This is how innocent people get killed. The idiot hunter who shoots at a deer 100 yards away seems oblivious to the farm house 200 yards behind the deer, but his bullet will travel 100's of yards passed that farm house. Like the idiot who sets up a backyard shooting target, then misses his target and the bullet kills someone in the neighborhood. Or the gun rage that claims no bullet could possibly get out of the gun range area ends up in the neighbors yard. IDIOTS who don't care who gets killed by their death loving hobby.
Anon, I imagine he was just playing it up for the audience, though since I don't watch the show, I don't know if they are into guns. Since TS used to shoot there he might be able to shed some light in regards to potential safety issues downrange. I seem to recall these guys suffered an oops with a cannon once,
How many stories have been posted proving what I said? You seem to want every incident taken as separate, ignoring the same kind of incidents happen everyday, and people get hurt, or killed all the time.
Actually Anon, unintentional gun deaths have been declining for quite a while, most likely due to effective safety training conducted by the gun industry. So while some have been spending a lot of time and money trying to get more laws passed, others have been actually going out and making a real world effort to change things for the better.
Right SS, that's why the NRA tries to pass carry laws, not gun safety laws. How many gun safety classes does the NRA have? Why doesn't the NRA pass national safety laws, instead of national carry laws? To bad you have to lie to make your points, but I enjoy it when you prove me right.
34 in a nation of 300 million, you do make me laugh with your ridiculous numbers that never prove your point. Can't wait for your next dishonest point.
Ah, you wanted numbers of those trained? The number 34 that I cited was the number of different classes. But that doesn't look at how many repetitions of the classes and how many students in each class. How about this for the number you were looking for Anon,
"Whereas major anti-gun efforts such as the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence operate at the policy level, away from most people's concrete fears and concerns, the NRA is hands on: More than 750,000 Americans go through some kind of NRA training every year."
Anon, TS actually understood my comment regarding the number of different classes the NRA conducts. You then intentionally misunderstood and suggested that each individual class only taught one student. I even cited a source that proved your intentional misunderstanding to be wrong.
There are 300 million people in the US, and you are saying only 34 of them have been trained in gun safety by the NRA after ssgmarkcr showed you the NRA course catalog with 34 different courses.

ReplyDeleteVery cool? So this is like candy or pornography?
DeleteCount me out.
I'm not a breaking bad fan. Just brought back memories seeing the M-60.
DeleteI loved Breaking Bad, but not because of the guns.

I thought we had talked about it here, but couldn't find it.

DeleteI count 34 different classes Anon, if you include the instructor's courses. Now how many classes does Everytown, Brady, and the MOMs teach?

My guess is that they train because it has a more immediate and positive effect while preserving the rights of citizens.

Since you have been a proven liar multiple times and ALWAYS use questionable sources, you are not to be believed. On with your next dishonest BS.
DeleteBut we should believe your claim that the NRA has only taught one person per class that they offer?
DeletePlease quote where I said that TS. Thought not, but thanks for proving yourself to be a liar again.

DeleteNever said that, but thanks for proving again, you just lie.
I just finished season 1 on Netflix. This is a pretty cool show.
ReplyDeleteThat's my old shooting range.
ReplyDeleteWhat?
DeleteI used to shoot at the range this was filmed at.
