Well that's a pretty narrow parameter, TS. Open carriers being mistaken for bad guys with guns is the real point. That happens quite often. Given that there are so many of you nuts out there, I'd say it's a good bet that it's ALL happened.
Well, it was the artist of the comic which chose the parameter by taking it to the extreme you see. Has it happened? Possibly, but hard to say. If it had, I'm sure the MOMs would have played it for all its worth.
The parameter defined by the silly cartoon is that open carriers would shoot each other. I don't doubt that people have freaked out over open carry, but it hasn't been fellow open carriers. Maybe they should have drawn one of you gun control activists freaking out and calling 911 and the cops show up and shoot the guy, but I guess that wouldn't be good for as many laughs.
In fact, I haven't heard of any violence along the lines of this cartoon. Of course there was that guy who took it upon himself to attack a permit holder when he saw he was armed. And surprisingly he survived assaulting the permit holder.
Well, I certainly haven't heard of any states becoming more strict in regards to either style of carry. In fact, I was just reading that they are going to try to override the New Hampshire Governor's veto of the Constitutional carry bill.
Part of your continuous problem SS, you claim to know what's going on, but you don't and just claim it doesn't exist. Just another example of your kill crazy gun loon delusion.
Amazingly, this has never happened.
ReplyDeleteOh, really. You wish.
DeleteOk then, why don't you show us an example of an open carrier shooting another open carrier because they saw the other as a threat.

DeleteYeah--I, too, would be simply fascinated to learn of this heretofore unknown incident.

DeleteThey just shoot innocent people with their gun idiocy. Figures you would protect gun idiocy over protecting innocent people.
DeleteBy and large, I'm no fan of OC....because it's nobody else's business that I carry. I'm also no fan of petulantly scripted cartoons.
ReplyDeleteBoy, that's really dumb.
ReplyDeleteorlin sellers
Brilliant! Demonstrate the "danger" of open carry with a silly cartoon fantasy.
ReplyDeleteYou "gun control" fanatics do love your a hyperactive fantasy lives, though.
It is a silly cartoon, but it makes a good point, one which you pretend not to get.
DeleteIt is a silly cartoon, but it makes a good point, one which you pretend not to get.
DeleteIf the "point" is that the cartoonist is a whiny, petulant child, I hereby acknowledge getting it quite well.
A point which only happens in silly cartoons....

Open and concealed carry is dangerous idiocy, no surprise these kill crazy gun loons love it.
