The REAL Ann Coulter

The latest thing is that people should making transgender comments about Ann Coulter since they insult transgendered people.  On the other hand, the depiction of Ann from the Boondocks film runs through my brain whenever I see a woman espousing right wing views.


Is this what they are really like when they are off camera?  I mean one even sounds like she's a porn star (and from what I've heard is a ditz, but I haven't really seen any of these people).

On the other hand, maybe this goes along way to explain their bitterness.

It's pretty good.

I've been waiting for that "Face in the Crowd" moment when one of these assholes blows their cover and actually DOES do something like this and tell you assholes how you have been taken for a ride.

Maybe it will happen before one of your kids kills himself with one of the guns you have lying about the home to keep them safe.

Ann Coulter called President Obama a "retard" on Monday night. 

She made the remark on Twitter after the third and final presidential debate between Obama and Mitt Romney. "I highly approve of Romney's decision to be kind and gentle to the retard," she tweeted.

She doubled down on Tuesday afternoon, tweeting, "Obama: "Stage 3 Romneysia" - because cancer references are HILARIOUS. If he's "the smartest guy in the room" it must be one retarded room."

Ann Coulter is so much worse than the prominent Liberal personalities that it's not even close. And she's not alone, what with Rush Limbaugh and any number of other hateful conservative blabber mouths.

I suppose what motivates them is the syndrome known as "Inexplicable Obama Hate."

I’ll admit it: I actually read, once upon a time, Ann Coulter’s book Slander; Liberal Lies About the American Right. I had to swab my brain with Clorox afterward, but I did it. I had my reasons. And while Ann herself is no more worth discussing than any of the other vast horde of vitriolic pundits who have discovered that there are tremendous profits to be made in attacking “liberals”, this particular volume offers some fascinating  illumination of that pursuit, and of certain propaganda tactics in general.

You have to read no farther than the title to get an indication of Coulter’s degree of accuracy. Slander is a legal term for oral defamation; but if that defamation is published or otherwise issued in a transfixed form (including video and audio recordings), then the correct term is libel, and that’s what she supposedly is documenting in the great majority of cases cited in the book.  She should know better, since she’s reputedly a lawyer (if she ever represented me in court, I’d plead insanity pronto); and using the accurate word would have produced such a cute alliterative title to boot. Alas, while her inaccuracies and untruths begin with the title, they sure as hell don’t end there.

I find it unbelievable that people of the right can't step back just enough to see how hateful Ann Coulter is. Maybe they do, but she seems to have a strong following. I would think just a modicum of intelligence is all it would take to see through her act.
