Some Great Tweets

Via The Far Left Side:

If a Detroit Muslim put a map on the web with crosshairs on 20 pols, then 1 of them got shot, where would he be sitting right now? Just asking. - Michael Moore

A physician cannot treat an illness s/he willfully refuses to diagnose. Violent political rhetoric is not fault of "both sides." - Tom Tomorrow

Inspiring that our media pundits are so quick to reach for "everyone's to blame" when no conservative events have been terrorized by gunmen. - Jeffrey Feldman
Weird: rightwingers say movies, video games affect behavior -- but real world violent rhetoric from leaders & radio talkers have NO impact! - Tom Tomorrow

Jared Lougnner: drug arrests, too crazy for Army or for college or anythign else, but getting a legal gun? No problem. - Tom Tomorrow

Sure, Sarah Palin didn't pull the trigger. But then, neither did Charles Manson. - auntbeast

Christina Taylor Green was Born on September 11, 2001, and killed today by terrorist fuckheads in Arizona. Irony much? - geeksofdoom

Sarah Palin rummages online frantically erasing her rabble-rousing Tweets like a Stalinist trimming non-persons out of photos. - Roger Ebert

  1. Anyone who is using this event to criticize the "rhetoric" of Mrs. Palin or others with whom you disagree, then you're either:

    (a) asserting a connection between the "rhetoric" and the shooting, which based on evidence to date would be what we call a vicious lie; or

    (b) you're not, in which case you're just seizing on a tragedy to try to score unrelated political points, which is contemptible.

    Which is it?

  2. So, Anon, when the Grifter, Sarah Palin uses phrases like "Don't retreat, reload!"--what do you think she's talking about?

Or when Palin puts Gabrielle Giffords on her "Hit List"--what do you think she's talking about?

And why do you suppose Palin has been scrubbing her websites and FaceBook entries?

Face facts, Anon, when you put out inflammator rhetoric suggesting "second amendment solutions" to get of people you don't like and encouraging people to bring guns to political events---you really can't be too surprised when one of the mentally ill ones decides killing a politician is ok.

  3. Anonymous, I'm a little worried about you. You sound a bit unstable. You don't own guns do you?

  4. You mean we shouldn't draw any negative conclusions from political rallies where assault rifles are carried?

    Give us a break!

  5. You guys are morons... It's like having a battle of wits with unarmed opponents...

If you have a problem with political rhetoric (which you seem to think is OK for you to do, but not the right) than that is a separate issue to take on.

It has been proven without a shadow of a doubt that this guy was a nutjob. A registered INDEPENDENT. He did not even vote in the last election...

Keep on trying to distract from the fact that there is ZERO connection between Jared Loughner and Palin, Beck, Limbough, Olberman, Zuniga, Matthews etc. etc. etc...

ANYONE with a functional brain will see right through the imaginary lines you are creating.

  6. Microdot's timeline basically says:

The Supreme Court ruled in Heller the way everyone thought they would because that is the way it has been perceived for a couple hundred years then that made Chuck Norris write an article and some criminal in a gun control state broke gun laws and shot at some state troopers and then an apolitical psycho nut job dope head killed six people.

That just about sums it up. So it is all Dick Heller's fault.

  7. ad arguendo SCOTUS in the Heller-McDonald Cases said that the Second Amendment has nothing to do with ownership of firearms outside of the Article I, Section 8, Clauses 15 & 16 context: do you believe that people would have still said these things?

Would the gun loons prove that they had no interest in the constitution and would violate Article III, Section iii?

  8. Brilliant.

Anon, and a) you are a gun nut and b) you are a gun nut.

    Which is it?

If you aren't, what do you intend to do about this person's easy access to semi-automatic weapons? What are you doing politically? Voting against violent pigs?

If you aren't, you are rather contemptible yourself... careful, there, people in glass houses, etc.

And anyone with a functional brain knows that anonymous commenters are usually chickenshit idiots on the fringes, too scared to leave a real name or functional link. And we should listen to such people WHY?

If you need to moderate that, Mike, feel free. I'm just SO TIRED of their two-faced, lying bullshit.

  10. "And anyone with a functional brain knows that anonymous commenters are usually chickenshit idiots on the fringes, too scared to leave a real name..."

Because your mommy and daddy actually named you DaisyDeadHead. Or is that just your chickenshit name?

  11. Now c'mon FWM. Those are two distinct levels of anonymity. You know that.

The things that that Anonymous said are pretty wacky. It sounded like he was saying that Jadegold and I are the only ones without functioning brains who are making our crazy connections. Anyone with an internet connection knows that's not the case - you don't even need a functioning brain for that.

  12. "Now c'mon FWM. Those are two distinct levels of anonymity. You know that."

Yes of course. I just found it very amusing for someone using a screen name to blast someone else for not using a "real" name.

Reminds me of a cartoon I saw once where a Dungeons & Dragons player that gets upset when the game goes off on a tangent about music or TV and he exclaims "okay, let's get back to reality. What is your magic user doing?"
