For those of you who keep asserting you need to carry weapons because of crime.

  1. Well if crime continues to go down, then there's no reason not to allow anyone to carry who wants to.

In a civilized society, anyone should be able to own and enjoy any firearm at will. After all, without crime, there's no misuse of said firearms.

    See how that works.

  2. Yes, anonymouse, we see how it works. You people that lovez your gunz want to scare everybody about the EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEvil world so that they'll buy gunz to carry to church, the office and their kids ball games. But if there's no crime why do they NEED gunz? Or do you think of gunz as just a sort of fashion accessory?

Guns are a crap load of fun but carrying a gun concealed isn't necessarily about NEED. I wear a Rolex but really could just look at my phone for the time.

Or do you think of gunz as just a sort of fashion accessory?

Well, aren't they? My Rolex, Audi, Five Stars clubs are considered excessive by many. My $4,000 Les Bear custom 1911 makes a statement any other gunny is going to recognize and admire. I could go cheap, but why when I can afford not to?

Everyday concealed carry is well on its way to becoming normalized behavior across the country. Blue states will be the holdouts but they will fall given enough time. You might as well get used to people comparing guns much like they share phones or compare shoes.

Well there are still reasons. Guns are stolen, negligent discharges happen, people get depressed and use guns to kill themselves and others.

The down side needs to be weighed against the up side, of which there's less and less.

  5. It's obvious crime rates going down because more people are buying and carrying guns.
