Greetings from the front line!

I wanted to take a picture of the French Tourists photographing the Demonstration, but you're going to have to do with a couple of pics from my cell phone. So forgive the quality and paucity of the photos.

As I said, I've been to the demonstration and can say that the trolls have no idea of what they are talking about. But we knew that already.

I will say that the protestors are in it for the long haul.

Although, thoughts of when Labour controlled councils used to allow for the homeless to sleep in tube stops (e.g., Tottenham Court Road) or other areas (such as near the South Bank Centre) come to mind when I see these protests.

  2. Thanks Southern Beale. I believe those pics are indeed London, that's where our co-blogger Laci is (we thing - no one knows for sure).

Thanks for the link about good ole Todd. That's a great story.

  4. I'm not sure what our troll is trying to prove, but the protest near me is very non-violent. If anything, it's a nuisance for people who work in the area since some areas have been closed off with barriers by the police.

The troll posted on speech from the LA protest where one person talked about violent revolution, but that is one of how many people?

Taking the speech out of context, which is a typical trick of the right, makes it sound as if the movement is violent. But a visit to one of these protests will show that is not the case.

  5. Who or what is Jadis?

I'll vouch for Laci being in the UK.
