In other words, it's good to live in Maine, New Hampshire, or Vermont, where the gun laws are excellent, and the crime rates are low. Otherwise, the colder the climate and the fewer the people, the fewer the crimes, generally speaking.
There is a correaltion with weather. Chicago's murder rate in the winter months is half that of the summer months- and that's true year after year. People stay indoors when it's freakin cold outside.
