I tend to write posts before I post them. Often, when MikeB asks me to fill in for him, I can write posts days ahead of when they will post (as is the case with this one).
I am also "comment adverse" meaning that I usually don't bother reading comments. In fact, if moderation were on, no comments would be published during my tenure as "blogger in charge".
Very rarely do I actually read a comment (although, I do if it is something I need help on on my own blog). but I really do tend to block people who annoy me--even if they "agree" with my point of view. I am less concerned whether we agree or not as much as how annoying you happen to be.
Verstaste?
If you prefer talking to yourself, why bother posting at all?
ReplyDeleteThere's no difference between you two. You are both besotted with yourselves.
Deleteorlin sellers
If you post nothing but lies and promoting criminality, why post at all.
DeleteBack to teaching the ranked worst students in the country, lying criminal coward.
Fortunately mike understood this and turned off moderation off so you wouldn't need to worry about it....
ReplyDeleteLaci is far too busy measuring his penis and fantasizing about holding it next to others in a G.I. Joe double fist power grip.
ReplyDeleteThis could be in response to my question about the Miller case. I've also asked it during periods where Laci was particularly chatty in the comment section, and still get nothing- like around that time he had three long winded angry posts in a row directed at Tennessean about how he doesn't have time to answer his inane questions (a classic moment in MikeB blog history).
ReplyDeleteI can't blame him for not answering though. Given how much time he has spent blathering about how the second amendment right requires enrollment in the militia-and citing the Miller decision to support that- how do you address the fact that the court never looked at whether or not Miller was enrolled in the militia?
Laci, thanks for keeping the blog alive during my absence. I don't blame you one bit for not commenting. As I often say in defense of the other gun-control bloggers who've made the same decision, not everyone has the patience and time to deal with the highly tedious and frustrating brand of gun-rights commenters we seem to attract. I think I also have a smattering of masochism.
ReplyDeleteWe offer a spirited debate, to be sure, but we give good reasons for our positions. That's what gun control advocates find tedious, since we don't play here on the level of stereotypes.
DeleteThe site lying criminal coward offers lies, that has been proven over and over again.
DeleteProven how exactly?
DeleteBy your own words, asshole lying criminal coward.
DeleteNo better proof.
Laci has been arguing with gun rights advocates since the days of Usenet. He loves it. Don't let the act fool you.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back. I hope you had a good trip, Mike.
