    1. Mikeb, why do you allow lies like this to be posted?

    2. Well, Greg, as I remember the conversation, you were a bit evasive about exactly how you handle that. Your reticence about whether or not you own a gun safe and your ridiculous talk of home-brewing was just asking for trouble, and Anonymous is on to you.

    3. You said you saw nothing wrong with drinking while using your gun. It's there for all to read. Seems the lie, is yours.

    4. I stated clearly that I do nothing with the one if I'm doing the other. It's that simple. All your lies, mischaracterizations, and unwarranted assertions do is show the weakness of your case.

    6. Greg, I remember it like you said, but my question then and now is how do you stop being a gun owner when you're tasting your brew? Even if you did have a gun safe, which you refused to comment on one way or the other, and you locked up your guns, you're still only a combination or key-turn away from them in your to-some-degree inebriated state. That makes you an irresponsible gun owner of the kind we profile here on the blog every day.You just haven't make the news yet.

    7. Mikeb, are you really that much of an idiot? No, I don't cease to be a gun owner. But unlike you, I can be responsible. Unlike you, I'm not an accident or a violent rage waiting to happen. Unlike you, I can be in the presence of a firearm without doing anything stupid with it. And unlike you, I don't want to impose silly burdens on people.

    8. So Mike is irresponsible? How?
So Mike is a violent rage waiting to happen? Prove that.
So Mike cannot be in the presence of a gun gun without being stupid with it? Prove that.
Supporting safety in gun use is silly?
The only thing you prove is you are a liar who could care less about innocent people (especially children) being killed by guns.

    9. Yeah, Greg, that was pretty infantile to accuse me of all those things. Of course, I didn't say those things about you, which is part of your in-build dishonesty. You constantly mischaracterize what I say.

    10. Mikeb, I'm attempting here to understand the psychology of a gun control freak. I can't come up with a reasonable explanation for why you'd support gun control. The only answer that makes sense is that you see everyone--including yourself--as irrational and violent.

    11. You're not attempting to do that, Greg. You're back peddling and in a vain attempt to turn the discussion around, attacking me personally. The obvious reality is the most responsible gun owner is one who DOES NOT DRINK. The more you deviate from that optimum standard, the less responsible you are.

  2. Actually, I'm in favor of bars allowing gunsucks to carry. that way, we can have a bunch of shootouts, and they take each other out. Good times.
