Michael Dunn's Neighbour talks about him. Are you really sure you want people like him walking armed on the street?
It makes sense that he would use the "get away with murder" laws to kill someone
Here the neighbour confirms his identity:
Any luck the jurors will find him GUILTY! GUILTY! GUILTY!
I hope his taking a chance on a jury will backfire on him,
I'm afraid I didn't want to use up the 30 odd minutes that I'd never get back to watch the whole video, but one thing stuck out in the first couple of minutes I did watch. The neighbor made the comment he was arrogant and thought he was more intelligent than everyone else. Sound like anyone here who has commented?
ReplyDeleteFortunately, in our country, being a jerk isn't admissible in court, else we would all be ex-felons at some point in our lives.
You should have spent the time. The neighbor corroborated data that was in Dunn's letters, about him being an asshole, a domestic abuser, who liked to engage in intimidation and violent threats, and a raging racist.
DeleteWe really SHOULD be keeping jerks like this guy from having access to firearms, EVER, jerks who have already demonstrated they are violent and lack sound judgment and valid perceptions of the world around them. It would dramatically cut down on our incidence of gun violence, and go a long way towards fixing what is wrong with our epic failed gun culture.
And how do you imagine that we can identify these problem types? Interview neighbors? Then all it would take is for your neighbors not to like you, and there go your gun rights.
DeleteAnd by the way, for someone who claims to be so smart, you shouldn't misuse the word, epic, that way.
Yeah, ss, maybe you missed the part about the guy's wives coming over for help. Even I listened that far and I'm the most impatient one I know.
DeleteMike, I saw that part. and my first thought was why didn't this neighbor call the police? I'm not conversant in the law regarding marrying foreign nationals and how their immigration status changes, but if they were married, then she's a citizen, right?
DeleteI'm guessing that since there is already an attorney representing the next of kin, then these videos are for a potential wrongful death suit. I agree that going by the first neighbor's statement, that the guy is a jerk. (trying to keep the language clean)
"A 47-year-old software developer was convicted Saturday of attempted murder for shooting into a carful of teenagers after an argument about their loud music, but jurors couldn't agree on the most serious charge of first-degree murder.
ReplyDeleteAfter more than 30 hours of jury deliberations over four days, a mistrial was declared on the murder charge that Michael Dunn faced in the fatal shooting of one of the black teens. The 12 jurors found him guilty of three counts of attempted second-degree murder and a count of firing into an occupied car."
