Arkansas School District's Plan to Arm Teachers Nixed by AG

A plan by a small Arkansas school district to arm 20 teachers and staff with 9 mm handguns has run aground after the state attorney says the program is not covered by state law.
The Clarksville School District was trying to mount its program using a little-known state law that is meant to apply to licensing private security agencies.
A state lawmaker requested the opinion a day after The Associated Press reported on a plan by the school district in western Arkansas to use more the teachers and staff as volunteer security guards armed with concealed handguns.
"Simply put, the code in my opinion does not authorize either licensing a school district as a guard company or classifying it as a private business authorized to employ its own teachers as armed guards," Attorney General Dustin McDaniel wrote.

  1. The A.G. may be right, but that just means that we need to change the law.

  2. The question shouldn't be wether the law authorizes it, it should be whether or not the law forbids it.

  3. Leave it to morons who joke about the death of a child , to think it's fine to have school teachers with loaded guns on them. An accident waiting to happen. Just arm the kids, so when they get kicked in the leg, they can can kill because they are in fear.

  5. Libelous? Funny Ted (Greg) Nugent. You have proven you know nothing about the law, but go ahead sue me. You want proof that you are a scum bag, just read your own comments. By Ted (Greg) Nugent.

I'm sure the grieving family will appreciate your insights, Kevin, as well as your insinuations that the death was intentional. Personally, if I were you, I'd open with the line about how the dad's really wanted the kid dead--bound to win friends and influence people.

I never insinuated the death was intentional, but thanks for turning the death of a 6 year old fodder for your depraved fun.

I thought you were leaving for the day, Kevin.

Guess the fake funeral was superceded by the need to whine about Greg being a "jackass" because he responded to your insulting post with sarcasm.

    Fake funeral, nice joke!

Greg said with a straight face, I'm sure, "we care a great deal about human life."

Of course, anyone who's read along here knows different.

There is more, read it yourself.
Please don't ask me again to defend myself against these scum. Delete my comments if you want, but don't expect me to treat these scum in any other manner than scum. You commented on the thread yourself stating that Ted (Greg) Nugent has no value for life, is it a surprise they would use the death of a 6 year old as fodder for their sick comments, laughing all the way?

Hey scum bags, go fuck yourselves.

    1. 1. Given your behavior here, none of us have any reason to believe that you actually attended a funeral of any kind. We won't be taking your word for it.

      2. You were called out for lying. That was not a joke. It was pointing out that you made a faulty emotional appeal and then got caught when you stuck around to toss more insults.

      3. When you act this way, you can't expect anyone to take you seriously.

    2. Fuck you scum bag, go kill a child with your precious gun.

    3. Ah, yes, it was so offensive of me to ridicule you about YOUR implication in Your first mention of the funeral--your implication that the shooting may not have really been an accident--an implication you made against someone who was apparently a friend or acquaintance if you weren't making the whole thing up.

    4. Go fuck yourself scum bag. Tell us more jokes about a dead 6 year old.

    5. Since you deny making the accusation, this is your first reference to the claimed funeral, from the post

      http://mikeb302000.blogspot.com/2013/07/the-california-model-twenty-years-of.html

if anyone wants to look it up in its original context. You said:

"I have to attend the funeral of a 6 year old who was killed by his father in a hunting accident(?)."

The final punctuation is yours, Kevin. The insertion of the parenthetical "?" implies that you don't fully believe the preceding information, thus implying that maybe the shooting wasn't really an accident. If this wasn't your intention, then you should have punctuated it differently. As is, I can only assume that you meant to make this implication or you just suck at communicating.

    6. The reference is to ass holes like you who think 30,000 deaths by gun shot every year are accidents.
What a dishonest, despicable piece of shit you are. Keep joking about the dead 6 year old, it proves what I've been saying about your slimy ass.
You want to make this out to be about my punctuation, what a twisting scum bag you are.
Then Ted (Greg) scum bag Nuegent wanted me to apologize.
Stick your shotgun up your ass and pull the trigger.

    7. BTW, Mike,

Since Moderation has been mentioned as a possibility, I'm just going to vote against bothering with any measures like that against Kevin/Anonymous. His comments are obnoxious, but they're just words, and they they broadcast his own stupidity for anyone reading to see.

Not complaining about any policies, just offering an opinion on whether one is needed for this troll who seems to like the smell of Greg and me.

    9. Kevin,

Sweetie, You're really trying HARD to wind us all up here, but I'm sitting here laughing at you and your attempts. It's really quite entertaining, though I've seen more authentic rage out of one of E.N.'s clones.

I'm going to get off here for the night, but please feel free to keep posting whatever skreeds you want, screaming into the aether all night long. Maybe you'll eventually be able to troll with the best of them. For now, I leave you with your anthem:

    10. I'm sitting here puking at the thought of grown men making jokes about a dead 6 year old kid.
Sorry, did not link. I'm sure it's some kind of dead kid joke.
Have a good night fuck head.

    11. Kevin, I appreciate your passion but you've been going way over the line with the name calling and insults. I think it's a bit of a stretch to call what was said "jokes about a dead 6 year old kid." Nevertheless, in my opinion it's perfectly fair to call each other out on things that are said, we do it all the time very often with exaggeration, but you need to tone it down a little bit, please.

  7. So let me see here, its ok be a high school grad armed guard where the job is just a paycheck. Yet for some reason, if the person has earned a bachelor's degree, undergone all the background checks required and likely has already chosen working with kids as a career just because they are hired by the school, its a bad thing?

  8. Yeah right Kevin, you would have kept your mouth shut like a good little gun fearing wussie.

Why should we believe that you would say anything at a funeral that you "had" to go to.

    Shut up....

  9. Kevin,
