The FFL License

What a racket.

It's worth the price of the guide in itself.

Brandon L. Maddox likes to help people. What do you think of this guy?

  1. Someone, evidently, is counting on there being some truth to the "sucker born every minute" idea.

  2. While your at it, I'm sure you could link to all that gold Glenn Beck is selling.

  3. One has to understand gunloonery isn't about rights or self-defense or collecting or hunting.

It's about two things: The fantasies of scared, fat white men (SFWM) and the industry that caters to them.

    Think about it.

SFWM worries that minorities are actively plotting to kill, rob and maim them. As a result, there will be an entrepreneur that will cater to them by teaching them "gunfighting" gleaned from the latest Bruce Willis movie.

  4. In JADEWORLD:

All gun owners are white. White gunowners fear "minorities" which I assume he means non-whites so whites buy guns. Since only whites own guns, they have nothing to fear from non-whites. Non-whites do not commit any gun crimes because they don't own guns. Therefore, white gun owners are paranoid.

Jade is one sick racist nutcase.

  5. Racist AND sexist. Bigotry from Jadegold? No way!

  6. "Jade is one sick racist nutcase."

Knowing the racist roots of gun control, it should be no surprise gun controllers are racist at their roots.

  7. A whole lot of denial going on. But, per usual, I've struck a nerve because sometimes the truth is unpleasant.

Gunloonery is a market. It takes buyers--scared, unsuccessful fat white males and joins them with sellers--those who cater to the fears, fantasies and aspiration of the SUFWM.

    Capitalism 101.

  8. Sounds like y'all struck one of Jade's nerves--he's getting defensive.

  9. Jadegold described the gun culture in a nutshell.

  10. Huh. Doesn't seem to describe any gun owners I know. So, MikeB, as a former legal and illegal gun owner (by your own admission), does it describe you?

By unsuccessful, are we talking professional success, or some other standard?

How white, male and fat? If my 104 pound Asian-heritage sister-in-law owns a gun (and she does), how can she be a white male? Does she become a white male only when wearing the gun, or just merely by possessing it? Are you calling my SIL fat?

  11. Jadefool's Biggest (Only?) Cheerleader:

Jadegold described the gun culture in a nutshell.

Jadefool's Biggest (Only?) Cheerleader gives up the last pretense of wanting a serious dialogue, and instead expresses agreement with groundless personal attacks, along with, apparently, a previously unexpressed (to my knowledge) bigotry: fatism (and apparently poverty, as well).

  12. You guys are a riot.

Anonymous thinks I mean every single gun owner including his SIL is a fat white male, and based upon that, Zorro thinks I'm a bigot against the fat people.

  13. Once again, the joke is lost in the medium.

I was just wondering what your canvas looks like, MikeB, since you paint everything with such broad brushes.

Then why make weight an issue at all? I won't celebrate Michael Moore's or Rosie O'Donnell's deaths any more than I will Mayor Bloomberg's or Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy's, because it's not their weight that makes them despicable and evil--rather, it's the hatred of liberty that the four of them share.

  15. "Despicable and evil,""hatred of liberty."

No broad brush strokes there, or excessive language.

Er . . . "broad brush strokes"? I was referring to four specific people.

As for "excessive language," I'm trying to be fiery--just wish I had a better gift for it.

The American people, particularly the gun owners, need to get in touch with our righteous rage--fired up, locked and loaded, and mentally prepared to do what's necessary, if preservation of our freedom actually does come down to pulling triggers. The SPLC is just spewing silly, hysterical fear mongering with their "Rage on the Right" bullshit, but I aspire to do my own little part in making it a little more realistic.

No More Free Wacos, or even Ruby Ridges. Anything like that goes down, we're going to have to burn this whole motherfucker down.

  17. Still no clarification, Jadefool's Biggest (Only?) Cheerleader, about how my description of four (specifically named) people has anything to do with "broad brush strokes"?

    ReplyDelete
  18. OK, I take back the "broad brush strokes" bit, you're only guilty of being fiery.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Well, I'm more "guilty" of trying to be fiery ("Attempted Fieriness," perhaps?).

Ten or twenty more years of reading Mike Vanderboegh, and stuff from his suggested reading list, might make me an effective verbal pyrotechnician.

  20. You want to see me make a painful admission, Jadefool's Biggest (Only?) Cheerleader? I'm just an amateur at inspiring "extremism" among gun rights advocates, compared to people like, well . . . you.

So it's really the 'gun control' advocates' own fault. Every time they try to play some word games and get caught, or, like Chicago or the ISP, make things as difficult as possible for law abiding people to own guns while criminals and Daley (but I repeat myself) have whatever access to them they want, they turn 'moderate' gun owners into hard-core ones and make 'fence-sitters' lean our way.

People like you, Jadefool, and the Dog do far more to motivate gun owners to "extremism" than I ever could, because you leave no doubt about where we will end up if we try a "moderate" approach to fighting oppression.

Maybe I should start shrieking about the need for "reasonable gun laws," and wailing about "the children."

  21. Thank you, by the way, for dropping the libelous accusation that I am guilty of the intellectual laziness and moral degeneracy of tarring people with broad brush strokes. I have nothing but contempt and loathing for such people, and was thus not only unwilling, but unable, to take such a charge lightly.
