The witness who tried to intervene is interesting. Did he not have a gun, is that why he couldn't stop it in time? What do you think?Police say James John Rodgers argued with an acquaintance at his Gulfport mobile home and ordered him to leave, then shot the man in the chest.
Police Lt. Adam Cooper told The Sun Herald that a witness tried to intervene, but was unable to stop Monday night's shooting.
Police say the 49-year-old Rodgers was charged with murder in the death of 42-year-old Clinton Jackson of Lockney, Texas.
