This story is about another cop shot by a disqualified person who had a gun. Or, perhaps he wasn't disqualified yet, he was facing 4 felony charges. I'm not sure, but perhaps in Indiana one retains one's gun rights until convicted. That sounds about right, don't you think?
Actually it doesn't matter much. The way things are now in that gun-friendly paradise, anyone can easily get a gun, anytime.

It wouldn't matter if this happened in Indianapolis, Illinois, or Washington DC. It wouldn't matter if the violent criminal HAD convictions on his record or not. He intended to own a firearm for illegal purposes, so he would always be able to get a gun for illegal purposes.
ReplyDelete"Making it harder" doesn't apply to determined criminals getting guns.
...Orygunner...
Don't be silly. All the hardcore criminals still visit their Nannie's and Pop's house for pie. Down with guns man! Up with smoke! WHHHOOOOOOOO!!!!
ReplyDeleteWith proper gun control properly enforced, not all the criminals who want guns will get them. That's simple common sense. For some it will become too expensive or too much hassle. Some will use other weapons, but even they will wreak less damage.
ReplyDeleteThat's the whole point.
