Typical Gun Owner Response to Osama

  1. I'm not sure I would say typical gun owner. Sounds like you've bought into the stereotype.

Gun ownership runs through all areas, all demographics, all education levels, all professions. Not everyone is vocal about ownership.

My wife and I are both highly educated, upper wage earners, registered Democrats, CCW holders and carry every day. As a Professor, I carry everyday on campus, while teaching in the lab, and while lecturing. By your stereotype, you would never suspect I was a gun owner.

But the guy in the video certainly is the extreme. He's obviously happy but shooting from a moving vehicle isn't very bright.

  2. Dear Anonymous, Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment. I actually know that and only play around with the stereotype business.

If you're still reading the blog, I'd sure like to hear more about your experiences as a liberal gun owner and especially as one who carries on a college campus.
If you'd like to send an e-mail I'll make it a new post.

    Thanks again.
