Yet, the pro-gun guys keep telling us it's not a problem.After his parents stopped for gas early Wednesday, the young boy scrambled out of his child seat, found a gun police say was left in the car by his father and fatally shot himself in the head.
Tacoma police said his father put his pistol under a seat and got out to pump gas while the mother went inside the convenience store. The boy's infant sister, who also was in the car, was not injured.

The problem is that the gun wasn't on the owner's person. When children are around its on your hip or locked away. No need to disarm parents who have all the more need for protection but these are cases of irresponsibility that can easily be avoided by just keeping your gun on you.

DeleteDon't you understand that putting up a "gun-free zone" sign forces us to disarm if we have to go into said zone? Criminals, of course, don't worry about complying.
