Incredibly stupid comment, bozo. These CORPORATIONS which have raped the consumer are not the government, but people like you are so stupid you cannot determine who the enemy is.
“We can’t just point a single finger at this company,” said Angela Rosser, the executive director of West Virginia Rivers Coalition. “We need to look at our entire system and give some serious thought to making some serious reform and valuing our natural resources over industry interests.”
She said lawmakers have yet to explain why the storage facility was allowed to sit on the river and so close to a water treatment plant that is the largest in the state.
Ms. Rosser and others noted that the site of the spill has not been subject to a state or federal inspection since 1991. West Virginia law does not require inspections for chemical storage facilities — only for production facilities." http://www.nytimes.com/2014/01/13/us/critics-say-chemical-spill-highlights-lax-west-virginia-regulations.html?_r=0
It appears that the single company that ran the facility isn't the only one to blame. But this seems to be a team effort in regards to lax standards, involving both the evil company and the government. I wonder what Jefferson would say about that?
My guess there are many things the government has done that would cause him to quickly learn to use the term, WTF!!!

If there were no regulations (as Republicans prefer) Would any company police it's own product for safety?
DeleteDraw and quarter them?
ReplyDeleteSounds reasonable.
Jeffersonian.
Love ya,

No, Jefferson favored the power of the individual over groups. That's the same line of reasoning that leads me to oppose gun control.
ReplyDeleteHe also favored law over anarchy. A lying criminal coward like you has made clear you prefer anarchy and promote criminal acts.
