More on the Houston 4-Year-old
As we reported yesterday, this accidental shooting resulted in the death of a 4-year-old. What's come out today is that the gun was stolen and the gun owner had drugs in the house. The distraught dad was nearly hysterical with grief claiming that he'd told the boy never to touch the gun.
My question is what's the difference between this case and those in which a lawful gun owner experiences a similar tragedy. Answer: not much, not much at all.
Criminal gun owners love their children just like their lawful counterparts do. They teach the kids about gun safety the same way. They cry when their kids get hurt too.
Lawful gun owners and criminal gun owners are birds of a feather. This kind of thing does not happen to gun control folks.

What lies. Some gun control freaks have guns--think Donne Trotter, Diane Frankenstein, and Dog Gone. Of those three, one (at least) screwed up with a gun.
ReplyDeleteBut if criminals really loved their children, they wouldn't be criminals. Perhaps you're more familiar with them than I, but you'll need to show me that they teach gun safety to their children.
To say, though, that criminals and lawful gun owners are "birds of a feather" shows your hatred of anyone with a gun.
Yep, nothing bad happens to Michael Douglas' kids because he is anti-gun.
ReplyDeleteDarwin strikes again. You get a gun, you are working the majesty and miracle of evolution. I simply stand back and applaud.
ReplyDeleteYou do realize that tool use is an adaptive behavior, don't you? But if you regard tools as too dangerous, remember that you must also give up electricity and fire. In fact, perhaps you should start weaning yourself off electricity by giving up the Internet.
Deletenickxdanger, the classiest troll on the Intertubes, celebrates the death of a child since it was the child of a gun owner! He even applauds!
