Women's Basketball Star Chamique Holdsclaw Indicted on Gun Offense

Yahoo News via democommie

In November, former WNBA star Chamique Holdsclaw was arrested after a violent incident involving an ex-girlfriend.

According to reports, Holdsclaw followed Jennifer Lacy (her ex and teammate with the Atlanta Dream in 2009) in her car, smashed windows in Lacy's car with a baseball bat, and even fired a gunshot into the car while Lacy was still inside. It was an awful, disturbing story involving a woman who was once the biggest name in her sport.

On Wednesday, Holdsclaw was indicted on charges related to this incident.

  1. But, but, but, she's not fat, white, straight, or a man. How can this be?

  2. Too easy access to guns, and the failure of the gun culture which allows people to take the law into their own hands.

It is domestic partner violence. Hooray for the newly passed VAWA.

Among other things, it will disarm all violent intimate partner abusers - although the gun huggers and the NRA tried to prevent that.

    1. Dog Gone, to you, any access to guns is too easy, except when you needed one for your very own. Then you were quite willing to take the law into your own hands to defend yourself.
