  1. Grotesque infringement on basic rights--Norwegian style. But thanks for revealing the kind of tyranny that you endorse.

  2. The United States needs to implement proper gun control China style.

It is an infringement on the rights of society for the Norwegian government to allow this thug to be armed.

This demonstrates the problem inherent in any policy which authorizes the licencing of mere civilians. It is a conflict of interests for the police to issue firearm licences to the masses. Fortunately, the weapons are registered as to aid MPs who will be bear the duty to disarm any "law abiding" insubordinates in that country. The law will change when new decrees are drafted and enforced upon the dependent States.

    1. And E.N. confirms two huge problems that I have with gun-control in just two sentences:

"It is a conflict of interests for the police to issue firearm licences to the masses." That is why police infringe on citizens rights in "may issue" states such as Maryland, New Jersey, New York, California, etc.

"Fortunately, the weapons are registered as to aid MPs who will be bear the duty to disarm any "law abiding" insubordinates in that country." Like we keep saying, registration leads to confiscation.

Gun control isn't about citizen safety. Gun control is about citizen disarmament so that there can be classes of people -- the elite and the "subordinates" as E.N. so eloquently describes them.

This illustrates the foolishness of communism and extreme liberalism: their goals to eliminate classes -- elevate the poor and take away money from the rich (redistribution of wealth) -- actually creates a tiered society with the elite and the subordinates.

  3. So if you are a single mom and learn that a stalker wants to rape and kill you, you are good to go after jumping through several hoops that take months and costs huge sums of money. I guess that single mom could send a registered letter to her stalker and ask him to wait for a few months while she jumps through all the hoops.

Of course that single mom is only good to go if her stalker attacks her in her own home ... and even then she is only good to go in theory. In reality she will likely be imprisoned. And I won't even mention the practical problems with that single mom trying to open a safe and load a handgun during an adrenalin dump after the stalker broke down the door and is charging at her.

No thank you. Murder control doesn't not stop criminals from trying to and successfully murdering citizens. Neither will gun control stop criminals from trying to and successfully obtaining firearms. I refuse to tell an orphaned child why their mother could not legally acquire and use a firearm to protect herself from a stalker. That is immoral.
