This has been legal in Florida for years and there has been problems before and while it is not something I would do,if he is acting within the law on his property without changing the law their is not much that can be done by those who oppose him acting within the law.

You wouldn't do it, but you defend his doing it. That's weak. If it's wrong it's wrong. If the law needs to be improved, fine, but don't defend dangerous and irresponsible activity meanwhile.
"You wouldn't do it, but you defend his doing it. That's weak. If it's wrong it's wrong. Ya they could get him for noise ordinance violation but if he was using a suppressor they could not even get him for that....The type of behavior he was hoping to engage in is dangerous and reckless but legal
Just because it's legal doesn't make it the safe, responsible, or the correct thing to do. A lesson gun loons obviously don't consider making them immoral in the face of needless gun shot deaths they are unwilling to confront and help stop even thopugh it will not infringe on their right to buy, own, or use guns.
