A DGU Against Breakfast

Kentucky has lax gun laws.

So, when you mix lax gun laws, trailer parks, guns, and a botched breakfast--well, the results aren't good:

Stanley Neace became upset over the way his wife had prepared his breakfast eggs so he shot her to death, together with his stepdaughter and three of his neighbors

At this rate, the NRA is going to run out of members.

  1. Where does it mention if he was an NRA member? Oh yeah, more made up Jade bullshit.

  2. I'll wager that I have exactly as much evidence that Neace is a contributor to the Brady Campaign, as Jade has that he is a member of the NRA.

So, given that, I'll just adopt the Jadegold approach, and come out and state that Neace was a longtime contributor to the Brady Campaign.

  3. The NRA could run out of members twice and still have more members than the Brady Campaign.

  4. That's it guys, focus all your comments on whether he really was an NRA member or not. Don't you see Jadegold is feeding into your insatiable need to avoid the real point.

The real point is too many of you gun owners are dangerous lunatics in disguise. When you blow, you often do serious damage for one simple reason, because of gun availability.

I am guessing their martial problems didn’t start there.

Or maybe you could have Jada quit making lies on your blog. If you want the issues discussed like rational people do, let's start by having the blogs have rational details to begin with. As long as your resident pathological liar keeps making outrageous statements, expect the responses to address them.

  7. "At this rate, the NRA is going to run out of members."

Well, that should make you happy, shouldn't it, Jade?

"The real point is too many of you gun owners are dangerous lunatics in disguise."

And you know this MikeB, because you've met every gun owner in the entire United States, and personally have knowledge of their mental health condition, and are qualified to pass judgement on it?

"When you blow, you often do serious damage for one simple reason, because of gun availability."

That's odd. The guy in this story didn't do that:

  8. Knock yourself out, Ruff.

By the way, are you beginning to be convinced that my Famous 10% has some merit?

  9. Of course he was an NRA member.

But this illustrates an important point. Note the gunloons would much rather discuss NRA membership than the fact 5 people were murdered simply because a nutjob had access to a weapon that enabled him to kill as many as he chose.

It also points up the fact this story is merely a blip in the news cycle--stories abot the NFL or some idiot wanting to burn a Koran get all the media attention. IOW, we've basically become so inured to violence--which would be a national tragedy in many industrialized countries--that we ignore it.

  10. By the way, are you beginning to be convinced that my Famous 10% has some merit?

Nope. I still have not seen evidence that actual figures are anywhere near 10%. Add up all of your scattered anecdotes and you don't even approach 1%.

    Says the admitted criminal.

Are you worried you might get shot one day if you continue your criminal ways MikeB?

  12. Jade: Here's a news story that doesn't mention the NRA about an NRA member.

Normal people: So how do you know he was an NRA member.

Jade: Of course he was an NRA member. He had to be an NRA member why else would he exist if he were not an NRA member.

    Normal people: WTF??

Jade: You people are fixated on the NRA.

  13. Note the gunloons would much rather discuss NRA membership.

No, we bring it up to point out that you're a liar who simply makes shit up.

  14. FatWhiteMan, your characterization of Jade needs work.

He is not as lucid as you suggest.

    Racist!

  16. You know what I say? What's the difference if he's an NRA member or not? And what's the difference if Jadegold said he is?

The idea that he shot and killed a bunch of people is the point, not whether he is a dues-paying member of the NRA.

Gun availability to a dangerous member of your fraternity (except Zorro of course because he's an island unto himself), the fraternity of folks who think it's good to own guns and turn to them for the solution to problems.

  17. Mikeb:

And what's the difference if Jadegold said he is?

    Translation:

And what's the difference if my side spews libelous lies to make its "point"?

  18. And what's the difference if Jadegold said he is?

So MikeB, are you going to get all butthurt and claim we're being "mean" if we call Jadegold a liar?

He is after all just spewing crap and making stuff up to further his (and your) agenda.

Do you really have so little personal integrity that you support such behavior?

  19. You know what I say? What's the difference if he's an NRA member or not? And what's the difference if Jadegold said he is?

You're right, it doesn't make a difference to the discussion. I just like pointing out that JadeGold is a pathological liar. It is confirmed on a near daily basis.

  20. RuffRidr, The only thing pathological on this thread is your (plural) obsession with Jadegold's veracity.

I know it's hard without that OCD medication, which obviously you guys are afraid to sign up for in case it causes you to lose your gun rights, but try to focus on this: "folks who think it's good to own guns and turn to them for the solution to problems."

  21. Mikeb:

Gun availability to a dangerous member of your fraternity . . . the fraternity of folks who think it's good to own guns and turn to them for the solution to problems.

So, Mikeb, do you have any evidence that any pro-rights commenter here has ever "turned to [guns] for the solution to problems," or are you just making shit up, in the finest Mikeb/Jadegold tradition?

    I'll pick choice "B."

    ReplyDelete
  22. Zorro, Let's have a race. Let's see if one of you guys has to use a gun to save the day before one of you has an accident or gets a gun stolen or has a family member do something stupid with one or before you give or sell a gun privately which ends up being misused.

    I'll pick choice "B."

    ReplyDelete
  23. Well, Mikeb, I'm not real interested in trying to keep track of all that, and utterly reject the bullshit idea that the results of such a "race" would prove anything, anyway.
