Pennsylvania - Cro-Magnon Paradise

Unsurprising news from the Keystone State.  The Castle Doctrine has been expanded and the "Florida Loophole" continued.

  1. The "Castle Doctrine" bill, with its expanded protection for decent people, has only passed the House. Whether or not the Senate will even work time in for a vote (they won't be in session much longer) is very much in question. Then, you have anti-liberty Governor Rendell's potential veto--last I heard, he wasn't commenting on that, but I'd be pretty surprised if he didn't veto it. So cheer up, Jadefool's Biggest (Only?) Cheerleader--I think it unlikely that this progressive law will become reality any time soon.

I do find this part of the article instructive:

Ed Marsico, the Dauphin County district attorney and president of the Pennsylvania District Attorneys Association, said his group supported the Lentz measure and opposed the castle doctrine.

"We have some concerns about the abilities of an individual who can't get a gun in Pennsylvania getting a gun in Florida or elsewhere," said Marsico.

The stupid piece of shit doesn't even know the difference between getting a gun, and getting a concealed carry permit.

    I agree--he's a Cro-Magnon, alright.

  2. Zorro's comments are so extreme and profane that I feel he doesn't deserve to be listened to. It is a free country, though, and we are free to talk nonsense. No one, however, is required to pay attention to it. ("Anti-liberty" Governor Rendell, indeed. Who but other extremists would give this kind of thing a hearing?)

  3. "Extreme"? HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Sheeeeit--I haven't really begun to contemplate the merest sliver of possibility of considering laying the very beginnings of plans to potentially start getting warmed up.

    I'll get there, though.

    Should be fun!

  4. Alan, Stick around for a while. I agree that Zorro is a bit extreme, but he's certainly not alone. I thought my "Cro-Magnon Paradise" was pretty cute.

  5. What did Zorro say that was extreme?

  6. Apparently, he called the statist governor of PA "anti-liberty."

Around here, we'd call that "calling a spade a spade."

In LalaAlanland, that's being "extreme," I guess.

Careful, Anon--somebody is likely to claim that your use of the term "spade" is "racist" ;-).
