Accidental Shooting of Idaho Police Officer at Gun Range During Safety Training - Of Course No Charges

They were holding an National Rifle Association law enforcement instructors course, when there was a "negligent discharge" of a firearm.

One officer was shot but is OK.

They can't tell say whether the shooting happened because of human error or a problem with the gun.

They did say it was not another officer's fault.
Did ya get that?

"They can't tell say whether the shooting happened because of human error or a problem with the gun."
Bwahahahahaha!

  1. "a problem with the gun"??? Wait, don't the gun guys say "guns don't kill people, people kill people"?

This is the 13th accidental shooting involving gun ranges that I know of so far this year.

    1. That means there have been hundreds in which injury or damage occurred. Then we could add the ones in which a round went into the ground or a wall negligently and fortunately no one was injured. That would make it thousands.

The percentages make sense if you consider to total number of gun ranges and shooters.

That is laughable. Baldr isn't looking for debate.

  2. When are you gun grabbers going to learn that when human beings are involved, accidents do happen, even to people who are careful and know what they're doing. That's life. No matter how much it irks you, you can't control life.

    1. Greg, there's no such thing as an accident when it comes to gun mishaps. These are incidents of negligence, I mentioned before my use of the word "accident" is facetious.

"people who are careful and know what they're doing" do not have negligent incidents.

    2. Do you apply the same thinking to cars? Both cars and guns are dangerous pieces of machinery. Because we're human, accidents do happen. Even when people are heavily regulated, such as drivers. It's rather childish of you to insist on a perfectly safe world. Mama can't save you from everything.

    3. Greg, I don't "insist on a perfectly safe world." That's a bullshit exaggeration of what I want and you know it.

Accidents don't happen with guns unless people are negligent and violate one of more of the safety rules. For that there's no excuse.

      Do you disagree with that?

  3. Why all the talk? Doesn't the "one strike your out rule" apply here? Or does it make a difference since theses were the "only ones"?

They are all a danger to society since one of them cant' operate a firearm safely....well at least that's what I have taken away from what the anti-gunners on this site say.

    1. If you're read so much on this site, Will, you should know I don't distinguish between civilian and law enforcement gun owners.

One strike you're out would be the law of the land if it were up to me. And it would be a safer land.

    2. Mike, I know you don't make a distinction, as you have stated before. My mistake for lumping everyone together.
