The whole airline security thing is colossal waste of money. A clever determined human can circumvent any automated or human safety system.
If we allowed all concealed carry licensees to carry hidden handguns on board aircraft, I cannot imagine anyone would ever attempt to hijack a plane ever again. There certainly would never be another successful hijacking ever again.
Violent criminals will succeed anywhere they have a monopoly of force. Why do we continue to guarantee that situation at schools, universities, large events, and airplanes?
