Another English Couple Shoots Home Invading Robbers

What happens?

They get arrested, of course!
Unlike in the US, this is actually considered a crime to shoot someone robbing you.

Their MP,Alan Duncan, said: "If this is a straightforward case of someone using a shotgun to defend themselves against burglars in the dead of night, then I would hope that the police will prosecute the burglars and not my constituents...The householder is the victim here and justice should support them and prosecute the burglars."

Anyway, the robbers and the homeowners are all in police custody.

Now, where exactly does this concept of gun rights come from anyway?

  3. Here's another reason why the gun-rights side is winning. Control freak Laci presents this case as an example of why gun rights don't exist. We see it as a demonstration of the need to respect gun rights, something that the British government doesn't do.

Laci, please continue advocating for gun control. With every word you write, our side gains just that much more support.

  4. So, Madame Barrister, how long must I evaluate a home-invader's intentions prior to deciding that my life is in danger?

  5. Every person in the world is born with the right to defend oneself. To use what ever means to do so in the process. Places like the UK abolish those right for their citizens.

Govenments take those rights away. Men and women do.

At least here in the US, our rights from birth are recognized and protected as birth rights and the power lies within the people. The government is limited on what it can do to the people, it is charged by the people to protect the people and their rights.

We have the bill of rights, birth rights, not a social contract like that of the UK.

  6. Laci is still angry about the reduction in the 30-month sentence that Munir Hussain's got for assaulting intruder who held family at knife-point.

    To make you happy.....

  7. Britain, thieving socialist redistributionist's paradise.

And when some one is home it is Robbery not burglary....

Maybe the poor misunderstood youths should have stayed the fuck home.....

Then they would not have been shot.

  9. An up date to this story,
    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/9520899/Businessman-arrested-over-burglar-shooting-was-living-in-fear.html

And it looks like that the UK is making moves to decriminalize someone defending themselves and homes.
