"Christian America" by Wild Bill for America

  1. Thank the universe that the bloviating asshole's first sentence included his thanking the "Family Research Council" for their "excellent research". Having heard that I know I need not watch/listen to the rest of his batshit KKKrazzee screed.

LFFJ* RWAdickwads are all pretty much the same.

At least this "Wild Bill" wannabe sports a half decent chapeua. Other than that he's just another lying fuckweasel KKKristianist.

  2. That was a tissue of nonsense. He fails to comprehend that while the founders were mostly Christian--in name, if not always in conviction--the made America officially secular. Jefferson wrote religious freedom into the Virginia Constitution, and John Adams did the same for Massachusetts. There can be no religious test for candidates for the presidency. Jefferson even produced a version of the Gospels that removes all the miracles, but that's beside the point.

Wild Bill is conflating a religious culture, which America certainly has, with an official religion, which America certainly does not have. He does illustrate the desperate need of control freaks of all varieties to decide how everyone must live. Sound familiar to anyone?

    1. We agree for a change. But, don't overlook the fact that Wild Bill is on your side.

    2. On the matter of guns, yes, he is. I'm more than a one-dimensional character, though. I haven't looked into the principles that guide this man's thinking, so I can't comment on his every position. On the subject of religion in America, he does need to do better research before making a historical argument.
