Voting is a right--gun ownership is not

Just remember that they want you to vote against your interests--and we have already had one party admission from you lot that you do it. Thanks for not being as "brite" as you lot think you are.

  1. Laci, I have but two things to say to prove your assertion that gun ownership not being a right is incorrect, Heller and McDonald. It will be interesting to see what happens with Heller II.

    1. Simplistic crap. Court rulings change all the time and prove nothing in permanency.

    2. Laci's favorite ruling, US vs. Miller was decided in 1939, and Heller overrode that ruling in 2008. I can live with a seventy year space between changes, if ever.

    3. We know you support rulings that increase innocent death.
Deaths from gun sot are almost as high as deaths from car accidents, but I have no doubt gun loons can break that number. Congratulations.

  2. 1. Rights are not created by governments. We are born with our rights. The duty of government is to defend those rights.

    2. ALEC can say whatever it wants, but voting is the duty of each citizen. No one prevents me from going to the poll, and no one prevents me from researching candidates.

    1. God did not write the Constitution, which gives you rights in the law. If you don't understand that these voter laws are denying the vote to people you are either dumb, or lying. In your case we have proved you are both dumb and lying.
Love the way your paranoid egotists always claim: I didn't kill anyone, so there is no killing going on. I didn't blocked from voting, so there must be no vote blocking going on. You think multiple people are one person, because there could not possible be more than one person that disagrees with your thinking. I haven't killed any kids, so there are no kids being killed. And on, and on and on. This isn't about YOU. The fact you think it is shows a psychotic level of egomania and paranoia, then you lie to make your points and that backs up your psychotic thinking.

    2. More cock-eyed nonsense from Camp who says government is supposed to defend our rights but it is your duty to vote. Oh Yeah, Who says?
I have the right not to vote so it can't be my duty to do something I don't wanna do. SHEESH!!!!

    3. Anonymous,

Greg Camp is not claiming that God wrote the Constitution. All he said is that we are born with our rights.

Our Constitution does not give us rights. Rather, it mentions some of our rights. And it details those rights to illustrate that they are sacred and that not even almighty government has any legitimate authority to infringe them.

The foundation in all of this is the sanctity of human life. Human life is sacred. Anyone, whether a criminal, a mob, a majority, or a government, who tells a citizen that they cannot speak or defend themselves or exercise any other of their rights, insults that citizen's humanity and dignity.

All the verbal gymnastics, insults, stomping or screaming in the world will not change that fact. Every time you seek to deny someone their rights, you are denying the sanctity of their life, their human dignity. That makes you an evil monster.

    4. Take what you think is a right, that is not enumerated as a right, and try to get a judge to agree with you when your so called right is denied you.
Greg has always said God created our rights. Nice lie though. I guess we can put yoin in the site lying cowards side of anarchy. racism and promoting criminality. Thanks for proving that.

    5. TruthBeTold, I wonder if you can find me saying that God created our rights. I don't recall saying any such thing, but I keep being told that I said that.

Of course, trolls have been known to be wrong...

    6. The site lying coward says beating people up is OK. He says revenge is justice. He says we must circumvent the law. He is a criminal.

  3. I'm following Sarge's example. If a comment calls someone a liar or is insulting, in general, I'm not going to respond to it. To all you anonymous commenters and to those whose names are in doubt, feel free to continue showing us the true nature of those who wish to impose violations of our rights.

    1. Then you should stop coming here. If you lie, you get called a liar. If you promote criminal acts, you get6 called a criminal. If you insult new readers, you get called an asshole. If you deny your own words that are in print, then you are a coward. If you give money to an organization that has known racists on it's board, then you are a racist supporting racist. You duck those who point out your lies, so saying nothing, is nothing new for you. When you claim one person, is six people, you are an egotistical, lying paranoid.
Now on with your lies and name calling, while you refuse to reply because you were called a name, righteously.
You continue to prove what your opposition says about you. Thank you.

  4. Laci claims that gun ownership is not a right.

That's a pretty damn big ego there Laci. Tell us all again why you are the final and/or only authority to define rights?

Someone like Laci cannot possibly have very many friends. No one likes people like Laci telling them what they can or cannot do or have.

  5. By expressing his opinion, how exactly is Laci being "the final and/or only authority to define rights?"

I share his opinion. It works like this. The right to life leads to the right to self defense but DOES NOT necessarily lead to the right to own a particular inanimate object like a gun.

    1. You can't accept a right and then tell us that we don't also have the right to use effective tools to exercise that right.

    2. Here we go again, the site lying coward saying we have a right under the 1st amend, to a PC because it's a tool of the 1st amend. Laughable.

    3. If the tools of free speech are a right, how come voice box replacement surgery is not free to everyone?
