Obama and Calderone

"We believe that we can shape an enforcement strategy that slows the flow of guns into Mexico while at the same time preserving our Constitution."
It's not working now and it's never going to, not as long as Obama refuses to confront the gun lobby. Until the 2nd Amendment gun rights are restricted enough to impact on the gun flow, not just into Mexico but into our own criminal world, the progress, if any, will be minimal.

Frankly, if Mr. Obama is truly interested in stemming the flow of guns into Mexico, he needs to deal with the ATF ala 'Fast and Furious' or 'Project Gunwalker'.

  2. Did you cry while biting your pillow to ease the pain of Obama FUCKING YOU IN THE ASS!!!!!!!

I can just imagine your lamentations, "but... but... but... guns are evil, veto the second amendment wwhhhhaaaaaaaaa, sob sniffle....!!!!!!"

Meanwhile the ATF allowed thousands of weapons in to the failed state called Mexico, and did nothing....... Oh except get a good man doing his job as a border patrol agent killed with one of those same weapons.....

Careful. You are falling for the gun control trap that preventing *that weapon* from falling into *those hands* saves *that life*. Yes the ATF is responsible for allowing guns to go into Mexico, but the shooter is the only one responsible for that agent’s death. If the shooter did not get his gun from the ATF, he could have gotten it from any other smuggler, or the corrupt Mexican police, or from Guatemala, etc… The cartel does not need the help of the ATF to kill people.

  5. All Obama cares about is reelection in 2012, and he needs to bitterly cling to his religion and guns to get there.

  7. You still don't seem real eager to talk about your hero agency's gun trafficking.

Too bad, given that there seems to be more to talk about every day. Now, we're hearing that it goes back further than anyone thought, and that your heroes were actually paying gun dealers, as confidential informants, to go ahead and make "straw sales" that the dealers would otherwise have turned down.

And just think--David Codrea and the man you love to hate, Mike Vanderboegh, broke this story.

You like apples, Mike? Well, do you?

Well, how do you like them fuckin' apples?

  8. Zorroy, Thanks for the link and for keeping us informed of the story. I would like to point out though, that the ATF was never my "hero agency." In fact I've not hitched my wagon to them or anyone else for that matter (Brady Campaign, for example). I'm a free agent, a free thinker and because I don't live near you, I'm free to take a walk with my kids without wondering which whack-job gun owner is going to blow a gasket next.

Ohh, now this is rich. Mr. "No Man is an Island," and "All gun rights advocates share responsibility for the misdeeds of all other gun rights advocates" now is a "free agent, a free thinker." You, therefore, don't share in the responsibilities for the BATFE's evils, despite advocating that they be given more power and more funding--you would reward the motherfuckers. You are truly comically full of shit.

Or how 'bout this: you saying you "oppose" that stupid bitch McCarthy's plan to make people rot in a cage for 10 years, for having an 11-round magazine. But you don't have a "shared responsibility" for that proposed tyranny on her part, when you support the rest of her forcible citizen disarmament agenda? Just what kind of "opposition" have you mounted against her plan to imprison owners of 11-round magazines, anyway? Have you written her? Would you contribute to the legal fees of her victims?

. . . and because I don't live near you, I'm free to take a walk with my kids without wondering which whack-job gun owner is going to blow a gasket next.

Works for me--ammunition is expensive. I'd hate to dishonor mine on a worthless sack of shit and his vile spawn--with all due respect, of course.

Oh, by the way--there have been some "whack-job gun owner[s]" who have "blow[n] [their] gasket[s]" a shitload closer to you, geographically speaking, than to me (and in places with far stricter gun laws than those imposed on me). Are you sure you shouldn't "wonder" a little?

Whatever makes you feel "safe," though, little herbivore.
