Another Domestic Violence Incident Turned Fatal by a Firearm

This woman has had her life, her future, stolen from her and from her family and friends.  It would be fair to assert her life has been taken from all of us in society.  What life, liberty and pursuit of happiness is there, what FREEDOM is there, when our citizens are victims of gun violence.  We need fewer guns, we need more regulated guns, we need to remove guns from the hands of people who are too willing to use firearms on other people.  This is never more true than when a non-lethal, non-injurious solution for a conflict exists, including many of those claimed as justified shootings.

Guns are making us LESS FREE, every day, in every city.
From KARE11 News and MSNBC.com:
Couple dead in apparent murder-suicide

ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. -- The search for a gunman who fatally shot a woman in St. Louis Park ended Monday night when the suspect was found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Police say a confrontation took place between the victim and her estranged husband in the parking lot of an office building in St. Louis Park near the 1600 block of Highway 100 around 8 p.m.
Witnesses say the man shot her multiple times and fled. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Minneapolis officers found the man's body about two hours later near East 37th Street and Hiawatha Avenue.
The identities of the victim and the suspect will be released when available by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's office.
No other suspects are being sought at this time.

  1. One of the telling things is that murder-suicides (which are almost always firearm-related) aren't tracked. Thus, gunloons get to pretend a significant number of suicides were about terminal illness or mental illness rather than some gunloon not wanting to face the consequences.

  2. You're probably already aware of this, Jadegold:

It is the VPC, so I'm sure that unlike, say, John Lott's seminal work of DGU's, it can be dismissed as "cooked" data...
