More on the "Don't Re-Nig" Bumper Sticker

“According to the dictionary, ‘nigger’ does not mean black. It means a low down, lazy, sorry, low down person. That’s what the N word means.” —Paula Smith of Hinesville, Georgia, explaining why she’s cool selling “Don’t Re-Nig 2012” bumper stickers. [Forbes, via ThinkProgress]

  1. Oh, I see that this thread is empty of nonsense by Purrfessur Camp. Wonder why? Could it be that he realized his defense on the other thread about the bumper sticker was shit on a stick that he was trying to pass off as an ice cream bar?

  2. That other thread was pretty funny, as I remember. One guy said "renig" was a perfectly good word.

  3. Democommie's remark reminds me of a joke I heard a while ago:

A guy sets up a stand on a busy street corner to sell what look like ice cream bars. They go for the low price of a dime. A customer buys one and licks it, only to shout, "This tastes like shit." The owner of the stand says, "Why yes, that's what it is." He pulls out a bucket. "I'm also selling toothbrushes. Ten dollars a piece."
